About

Dr. David A. Bishop is a technology consultant, researcher, and instructor with over 20 years of enterprise level experience working with clients such as AT&T, BellSouth, EDS, Delta Airlines, and Toshiba.

David holds an ABET accredited Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA from Devry University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Georgia State University. He is a member and committee chair for the International Electrotechnical Commission and a Senior Member of the IEEE.

Dr. Bishop is the creator of agile vortex theory, which is the subject of his forthcoming book, “Meta-Agility: A New Paradigm for Managing Agility in Today’s Highly Innovative Marketplace”. He is also the host of “Technically Employed”, a YouTube channel focusing on topics related to IT management and career development.

In his spare time Dr. Bishop serves as a champion and volunteer for the Foundation for Mitochondrial Disease.
